Mission

At Center Parcs Europe, we believe in the power of togetherness and in creating meaningful moments, for our guests and for each other. We build places where people feel at home, take a deep breath and reconnect with what truly matters. That same spirit shapes our culture: collaborative, open and full of opportunities to grow. Whether you work in our parks or at our headquarters, we are growing, becoming more digital, more authentic and more sustainable, and we are looking for people who want to grow with us in a culture where your ideas count, your work matters and no two days are the same.

As Senior Project Manager – Development, Extensions & Renovations CPE, you shape the early stages of major new developments, important renovation, redevelopment and extension projects across our portfolio in Germany. From first concept and feasibility through technical preparation, stakeholder alignment and permitting, you create the foundations that allow complex development projects to move forward.

Reporting directly to the Senior Development Director, you work in an international matrix organisation and bring together internal specialists, local authorities, architects, engineers, consultants and contractors. Your role is not simply to manage a planning process: you keep people aligned, identify risks early and turn ambitious ideas into projects that are ready for execution.

Your daily impact
  • You lead new project developments, renovations, redevelopment and extension projects from concept and feasibility through technical development, decision-making and submission of the required permits and authorisations.
  • You structure and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, clarify responsibilities and align Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, Asset Management and Development around scope, planning, budget and key decisions.
  • You manage architectural, engineering, design and technical preparation activities and coordinate external consultants, architects, engineers, permitting specialists and other advisors.
  • You lead permitting and authorisation processes, working directly with municipalities, provinces, regions and other public authorities while ensuring compliance with local, environmental and company requirements.
  • You monitor planning, budgets, feasibility and project risks, implement structured risk-management principles and prepare clear decision papers, steering materials and project status reports for senior stakeholders.

Profile

Does this sound like you?
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Project Development, Hospitality Real Estate or a comparable technical field, combined with approximately 7–10 years of relevant experience in project development, construction preparation, permitting or technical project management.
  • You have a demonstrable track record of guiding complex multidisciplinary projects from feasibility and concept through technical preparation and permitting, understand operational P&Ls and cost-and-return calculations, and know how to coordinate stakeholders without relying on direct reporting lines.
  • You are fluent in German and English and also speak Dutch and/or French; you combine strong analytical, planning and stakeholder-management skills with ownership, autonomy, a hands-on approach and the flexibility to work across countries and project locations.
What you bring
You are comfortable operating in a matrix organisation where progress depends on coordination rather than hierarchy. You know how to keep complex projects moving when commercial, operational, technical, legal and regulatory interests all meet around the same table.

Experience within leisure, hospitality, tourism or hospitality real estate is a strong advantage. You also bring a reliable professional network within construction and real estate development, including relationships with brokers, contractors or other relevant market parties.

You work confidently with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or comparable planning software. Experience with project- and document-management systems is an advantage.

Good to know
This is a role focussing on Germany, but with possibility to also manage projects in our different home countries (NL, B, F, DK). You can expect to travel approximately two to three days per week, depending on project phasing.

Your working week will typically combine time at project locations, home working and approximately one day per week at a corporate office. Because the German development pipeline is an important part of the role, regular presence in Germany will also be required.
